Jon's Refuse was started in 1972 by Jon Kummer, with a desire to provide southern Beltrami county residents with a choice in their waste disposal needs. Although ownership has changed over the past five decades, the business is back in Jon's family and still provides residents with a local, family-owned option for their sanitation needs.

 

The current owner, Bob Hirt, is committed to helping keep revenue within the local economy while offering the same quality service and community-minded philosophy that started the company.
